Teacher of Harp, Flute, Piccolo, Whistle and Music Theory. 

 

 

Manon teaches harp at Sheffield High School for Girls currently, and also has regular private students. She has worked for several music festivals including Cambridge Folk Festival providing whistle workshops there for the past 3 years. She also has lead student orchestras and The University of Sheffield Folk ensemble. She is comfortable running workshops in a range of different settings, abilities and age groups.

Manon's teaching approach is very much to work with each individual in a format that they are comfortable with and to achieve personal goals. Her teaching covers a range of approaches including working through grades, personal technique development, theory tuition and teaching by ear. Having a classical training and a background in folk music means she is very open to teaching a range of different genres and shape lessons to the student!
